Hello World

Obligatory clique post to bring this blog to life. This is my first (well hopefully my first) serious attempt at running and blog and keeping it updated. I have started many blogs during my internet life; they start with the best of intentions but then ultimately have no real purpose and fizzle away in the ether.

That leads to where you are right now, and why I have some semblance of hope for my latest brain child. This blog doesn’t have any pretensions, this isn’t a place for thought provoking insight, or analysis into the latest political happenings — just whatever I’m currently thinking about, what I’m interested in, and anything else.

I change my site everyday

Well, a slight exaggeration but not far from the truth. I have an unhealthy obsession with updating the layout on my website. For a long time my website has just been my own little corner of the internet, with such few traffic I have had no concern with providing meaningful content or much other than a few images and links. However the time has come for me to get a job, and not just any job, I want to work with some pretty awesome people.

This means my website will (hopefully) be getting trafficked by some people that I want to impress; thus it’s time to change out of my super comfy jogging bottoms into something a little more appropriate. Honestly, I have no idea where I thought that trouser metaphor was going, but hopefully you get the gist. I need to content up and make myself look presentable.

Content?!

Yes, I already have some content here! If you take a look to the top of the page, you can see I have written and uploaded my life goals to the site. It’s my (current) list of all the cool stuff I want to do before I’m incapable/boring/dead. As I complete them I will be posting on this here blog with evidence and other stuff. I will be making a post about the thought process behind this later. There are also some other pages you can check out (but as of writing aren’t finished).
